As a child, his cousin's artistic depictions of surfers and waves fueled a dream that seemed out of reach in Morocco, where beach trips were discouraged, and surfboards were scarce. Undeterred, Simo saved up for a bodyboard at 12 and spent years riding waves until 2003, when he tried a single fin at Anchor Point. That unforgettable ride, a perfect blend of thrill and freedom, ignited his passion for surfing and set him on a journey to find and master classic single fins in Taghazout.

Now legendary for his Anchor Point rides and Imsouane hang-tens, Simo leads Quiver Point with a deep love for the surf and the community it creates. With over five years of teaching and guiding experience, he’s one of the rare locals who can instinctively read the ocean, finding perfect, off-the-beaten-path spots. Simo’s connection to Morocco’s sunshine, vibrant food, and simple lifestyle inspires everything at Quiver Point, creating a family-like surf haven for all who join.
