Welcome to Quiver Point! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (www.quiver-point.com) and services, including board rental, surf guiding, and surf clinics (retreats). By accessing our site or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. General Terms
1.1. Quiver Point is located in Tamraght, Morocco, and provides surf-related products and services.
1.2. By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian.
1.3. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on this page.
2. Services Overview
Board Rentals: Choose from a variety of surfboards, including longboards and single fins.
Surf Guiding: Personalized surf guiding and surf coaching sessions tailored to your skill level.
Surf Clinics (Retreats): Multi-day programs offering surf instruction, accommodation, and community activities.
3. Bookings and Payments
3.1. Bookings: All bookings for rentals, guiding and clinics must be made through our website, email, or in person at the shop (Quiver Point, Tamraght).
3.2. Deposits: A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable.
3.3. Payments: Full payment must be made before the start of the service. Payments can be made via credit card, PayPal, or in cash.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
4.1. Board Rentals: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the rental start time to receive a full refund.
4.2. Surf Guiding: Cancellations made at least 2 weeks before the start date will not receive a refund. However, you may rebook to a surf guiding session or a surf clinic within 6 months of the original booking date. Refunds will not be issued.
4.3. Surf Clinics (Retreats):
Cancellations made more than 6 weeks before the start date: Full refund provided.
Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the start date: No refund unless we can fill your spot. However, you may rebook to another surf clinic within 1 year of the original booking date. Refunds will not be issued.
4.4. Changes or Cancellations by Us
We reserve the right to modify or cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to operational issues, safety concerns, or changes in availability. In such cases, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer alternative dates, services, or a full refund.
4.5 Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellations or changes due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or other force majeure events. In such instances, we will work with you to reschedule your booking to a later date, but refunds may not be possible depending on the circumstances.
5. Liability and Risk
5.1. Surfing involves inherent risks. By using our services, you accept all risks associated with surfing activities.
5.2. Quiver Point is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during surfboard rentals, surf guiding, or surf clinics.
5.3. We strongly recommend that participants have appropriate travel and health insurance.
6. Board Rental Terms
6.1. Rental Period: Rentals are available for the duration specified at the time of booking. Extensions must be arranged in advance and are subject to availability.
6.2. Pickup and Return
6.2.1 Equipment must be picked up during operating hours unless otherwise arranged.
6.2.2 All rentals must be returned by the agreed time.
6.2.3 A valid ID may be required to secure your rental.
6.3 Late Returns
6.3.1 A fee of 50 MAD per hour / 500 MAD per day will be charged for late returns.
6.3.2 Returns more than 1 day late will be charged the full daily rental rate for each additional day.
6.3.3 Excessive lateness may result in penalties or denial of future rentals.
6.4 Board Care and Usage
6.4.1 Renters are responsible for the equipment during the rental period.
6.4.2 Avoid damage from sun exposure, improper handling, or unsuitable use. Rinse boards with fresh water after use.
6.4.3 Any damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in repair or replacement costs.
6.5 Damage and Liability
6.5.1 Renters must report any damage upon return.
6.5.2 Costs for damage or loss not covered by a damage waiver will be billed to the renter, up to the replacement value of the equipment.
6.6 Cancellations and Refunds
6.6.1 Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the start of the rental for a full refund.
6.6.2 No refunds will be issued for unused rental days.
6.7 Deposit Requirements: A deposit may be required for certain equipment, refundable upon its return in acceptable condition.
6.8 Insurance and Waiver: Renters may opt for a damage waiver covering minor repairs. This waiver does not cover theft, loss, or major damage.
6.9 Prohibited Uses: Rental equipment may not be used in conditions beyond the renter’s skill level or for unauthorized commercial activities.
7. Surf Guiding Terms
7.1. Medical Conditions: Participants must disclose any medical conditions or limitations that may affect their ability to participate safely.
7.2. Weather and Conditions: Surf guiding is subject to weather and surf conditions. If rescheduling is necessary, participants will be notified as early as possible.
7.3. Equipment Responsibility: Participants must use their own equipment or rented equipment in good condition. Guides may refuse participation if equipment is deemed unsafe.
7.4. Safety Compliance: Participants are required to follow all instructions from guides for safety reasons. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of the session without refund.
7.5. Prohibited Substances: Alcohol and drug use before or during sessions is strictly prohibited.
8. Surf Clinic Terms
8.1. Medical Conditions: Participants must inform us of any health issues that may impact their participation.
8.2. Skill Levels: Clinics are designed for specific skill levels. Participants should ensure the clinic matches their current abilities. Guides may recommend alternative sessions if mismatched.
8.3. Equipment: All equipment must meet the required safety standards. Participants renting equipment are responsible for its condition and must report any damage immediately.
8.4. Weather and Rescheduling: Clinics may be rescheduled due to weather, surf conditions, or unforeseen circumstances. Notification will be provided promptly.
8.5. Code of Conduct: Participants are expected to respect guides, other participants, and the local environment. Misconduct, including substance use, will result in removal from the clinic without refund.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Quiver Point website, including text, images, and branding, is the property of Quiver Point. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms will be governed by the laws of Morocco. Parties agree to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing legal action.
